Xrays?

I took yesterday off because my shins were just really too painful. I decided to use today as my long run day.

I hadn't even gone a mile-and-a-half and I truly felt like my right shin was going to crack in half. I kept going, though, walking whenever I needed to, stretching, running again, etc. I ran WAY more than I thought I could, and probably more than I should have.

I'm beginning to wonder if the shin splint in my right leg is not actually a shin splint but something worse. I'm contemplating getting a referral to see a doc who specializes in this schtuff, and seeing if I can get an xray.

I'm trying to ice it as much as possible but this weekend's been kind of crazy and now I have to do laundry and clean up the pig-sty.

Think nice, comforting, positive thoughts for my poor leg.
I am planning on treadmilling it tomorrow morning, but we'll see how that pans out.
